Crimesync's "Crime Alerts" feature gives users the ability to set up crime alerts for areas that they care about.

For example, a user could set up a crime alert for their child's school. Each time a crime is committed in the area around the school and reported on Crimesync, the user will get an email notifying them about the crime. They can then take correct precautions. 

Users can also create multiple alerts such as: my home, my child's school, my parents house

To create a crime alert, sign in and go to "My Control Panel". Name the alert, set which crimes you want to be alerted on, and the exact location that you care about. From there, set the radius around the location in which you want crime alerts.
